Joseph Niepce born on the 07th March 1765 is considered as the father of Photography and he used a lens and a camera he made by himself to take a picture of people walking on the street with the help of sunlight reflected on the window. Taken during 1826-1827 period, View from the Window at Le Gras is the oldest surviving photograph today. Despite the public’s hesitance, the dedication and commitment of Niépce and other artists drove the French Parliament to accept photography as an art form. The journey that started as such has become one of the leading forms of art and profession that is practiced all over the world by people from all walks of life.
